LPGA*USGA Girls Golf of San Antonio
The only national initiative of its kind, Girls Golf is administered through a partnership between The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Foundation and the United States Golf Association (USGA), both non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organizations.
With more than 250 Girls Golf programs in communities across the country, Girls Golf members receive golf instruction overseen by LPGA and PGA teaching professionals who are equipped to take participants from beginner to advanced players. Girls Golf programs also focus on inspiring girls to feel confident, build positive self-esteem and live active and healthy lifestyles by incorporating the “Five E’s of Girls Golf” into their curriculum. Girls ages 5 – 18 years old are welcome!

2021 Schedule of Events
This year we will be hosting 10 Girls Golf Events throughout the year to introduce girls to the game of golf and get them active in the program! These will be fun and engaging events that will focus on the Girls Golf 5 E’s along with the First Tee curriculum. Not all of the events are golf related, but most are. The ones that are not golf related are to get the girls maybe out of their comfort zone and experience something that may have never done before! Be sure to check these events out!
If you have any questions or would like more details on the events, please read below. You can also contact either Brittany Taylor (firstname.lastname@example.org) or MJ Resendis (email@example.com).
Ladies in Leadership Dinner – Wednesday, November 3rd 5:30pm – 6:30pm
This event will be hosted at TBD.
The girls are invited to bring their mentor or someone they look up to, to this dinner. We will be focusing on the E of Empowering! While this dinner is going on, we will be having special guests (Women in Leadership Roles) talking with the girls about what they do and how they got there. Through this event we want the girls to feel empowered to reach for the stars and not give up on their dreams!
TopGolf Night! – Thursday, November 11th 5pm – 6pm
On this Veteran’s Day we will be hosting an event at TopGolf with drinks and food! Coaches will be there to help instruct when needed, but we are encouraging the girls to bring their smiles and have some fun!
Dormie Network Event – Saturday, November 20th 4:30pm – 6pm
This event will take place at Briggs Ranch Country Club and will be hosted by the Dormie Network. During this event we will focus on all 5 E’s and the girls will go through different stations that will focus on different areas of their golf game! The girls will receive their goodie bags and be a part of an awesome event that will wrap our Girls Golf year!
NEW! E-LEADER PROGRAM – VOLUNTEER PROGRAM FOR GIRLS AGES 13-17
The E-Leader program is a new national volunteer and mentorship opportunity for Girls Golf members, ages 13 – 17, who are looking for ways to give back to help their local program. In addition to making a difference in their community, they’ll build professional and leadership skills that will help them prepare for life beyond high school.
Enrolling as an eLeader is the perfect way to earn volunteer service hours and gain experience in teaching, marketing, event/tournament management, communication, technology, and more! Not to mention, their service as a Girls Golf E-Leader makes a great addition to their resume and college application!
